Wedding Photographer Branding
Wedding Photographer Branding:
While I had great intentions of writing a lengthy post about this brand, I'm completely blown away by what Mackenzie Rollins has already written. Holy guacamole, that girl has a way with words! This wedding photographer branding was one of my favorite projects to date.
RollinsCole is a brand that has been in the works for many months, and I'm thrilled to see it take life outside the womb today.
*Big thanks to Mackenzie, Mel, Melissa, and the team over at Showit for giving this project their undivided attention!
These digital version of RollinsCole's business cards doesn't do them justice! We printed these babies on beautiful pearl cardstock, making the brownish color shown above more of a gold metallic color. The logo was drawn by Yours Truly, with hand-drawn lettering and vintage details used throughout their brand.
Mel and Mackenzie had a brilliant solution to their DVD packaging - they bought plain white discs and stamped each one with their logo. Simple and affordable. Love it! Here's a good site for rubber stamps, in case anyone is wondering where these can be purchased.
This feather illustration was something I was thrilled to incorporate into this brand. Mel loved this drawing so much, she mentioned the possibility of getting a tattoo in this design. What a compliment! That's the best review I've ever gotten on an illustration.
As RollinsCole travels from New York to Texas (and everywhere in-between), we used an abstract illustration of a map for their packaging. This drawing was later used for envelope liners. While viewers might not understand its purpose upon first glance, I love how this piece has an underlying meaning. It is important to stay true to you and incorporate personal aspects into your brand.
