RHIO Wellness: Branded!
As you may have already noticed, our clients and projects can vary from one end of the spectrum to the next. Although we try to stay true to our clean, professional design style, we are always looking for ways to implement new ideas into our work. With this project, we really wanted to dig deep and focus on the conceptual aspect of the company behind the logo, as our client's ultimate goal is to help others cope with their experiences and obtain the quality of life they deserve through psychotherapy.
When discussing the direction of the branding, one idea was to create an acronym out of some sort of tagline, although the word itself still needed to have the right sound. After shooting ideas back and forth, we decided on the word 'RHIO,' which stands for "Reflective Healing & Inspiring Outcomes." We played off of the tranquility and calmness of a river, using a symbol that represents reflection and serenity. The word "river" also translates to "rio" in Spanish, which helped to solidify the strength in the name that we came up with.
For the flier, it seemed fitting to find an image of someone with an emotionless expression on their face, who could easily relate to anyone who is feeling lost or hopeless. The reflective symbol is used throughout the design pieces in many different ways to create brand recognition.
