DIY: Bridal Shower Decorations
There are so many options when it comes to decorating for a wedding or bridal shower. Why not try something new? The bride-to-be will be more than impressed when you put a little extra time into creating a few of the small details yourself, and you might even save a little money at the same time. A friend of ours recently planned an Anthropologie-inspired bridal shower, and we were excited to help out with the finishing touches. For favors, Nicole (the organizer) had the great idea to fill Mason jars with all the ingredients needed to make chocolate-chip cookies. She topped them off with small squares of burlap that covered the top and bright colored ribbons to tie everything together. To make the jars a little more personal, we created vintage apothecary labels that had the bride and groom's wedding details printed on the front.
For the tables, we also created matching placement cards that the guests could take home as souvenirs. (This idea can work especially well when you have two or more guests that would rather not be seated within eye's reach of each other, as you can decide beforehand where each person will sit. Save yourself the drama!)
